Inflammatory bowel disease in dogs and cats: Authors’ observations

The aim of the study is to present our observations related diagnosis and treatment inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in dogs cats based on clinical cases. Inflammatory a group diseases characterized by chronic and/or recurring gastrointestinal signs unknown cause. etiology not fully understood. can be caused genetic factors, abnormal reactions immune system, damage protective barrier mucosa, environmental factors. Symptoms IBD are very characteristic, "gold standard" its endoscopy combined with collection mucosa specimens for histopathological examination. may involve use glucocorticosteroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, immunosuppressants, probiotics, vitamins. Appropriate diet therapy also important.
